Robert Wayne Carrington, 83, husband of Brenda Christopher Carrington, passed away on Monday, March 13, 2023, at his home surrounded by his family. Born in Mason County, Kentucky, on October 20, 1939, to the late John Carrington and Mary Clay Tracy Carrington-Ballard. Wayne was a retired mechanic for General Electric and a United States Army Veteran.

In addition to his loving wife, he is survived by his daughter, Paula (Mike) Rogers; grandson, Benton Rogers; sisters, Ann Bishop and Debbie Jones; brothers, Gene (Phyllis) Carrington, James “Doc” (Doris) Carrington, and Larry Carrington; special friends, Gary and Kathy Plowman; several nieces and nephews.

Wayne was preceded by his parents and siblings, Sue Dryden, John Thomas and Dan Carrington.
