The Winchester Police Department seeks the public’s assistance in finding a man wanted in connection with a local robbery.

According to a social media release posted on Tuesday morning, police are searching for Robert Cody Williams, 35, who has an active warrant for his arrest regarding his alleged role in an armed robbery at Fast Lane Tobacco in Winchester on Jan. 6.

Williams is considered armed and dangerous, and the public is discouraged from approaching him.

Police ask that if anyone knows of Williams’ whereabouts, they should call (859) 745-7403 or send a message through the department’s Facebook page. All tips will be kept confidential.
