Charles “Edmund” Luxmore III, age 47, born July 5, 1975, left this life on Thursday, Aug. 18, 2022. He leaves behind his loving wife, Shonna Luxmore, and his parents Charles Edmund Luxmore Jr. and Betty Luxmore.
He was preceded in death by his paternal grandparents, Charles Edmund Luxmore Sr., and Edythe Newsome Luxmore, his maternal grandparents, William Earl Martin and Beth Stumbo Martin, his step grandmother Elizabeth Mullins Martin and his brother-in-law Randy Boyd.
He also leaves behind his uncles, William Matthew Martin (Missy Martin) and Daryl Luxmore (Ada Luxmore), his aunts Lisa Harris (Devre), Rhoda Harris Moore (Rick Moore), and “Aunt” Joan Stumbo Flanery (Bryan Flannery). His special cousins Bryan Luxmore, Martin “Marty” Luxmore, Jonathan Moore, Chloe Devre, and Beth Ann Martin. He also leaves behind Shonna’s parents, Randall and Donna Boyd, who loved him like a son, his “sister”-in-law Angie King, and his pride and joy, his niece Baylee King.
Edmund worked at Prism Medical in Lexington Ky. He enjoyed his job and was proud to be a part of the company. He was a hard worker at work as well as at home. He was always willing to jump in and help, whether it was doing dishes, putting food away, grocery shopping for his parents, fixing what needed fixing, or carving the turkey at Thanksgiving, he was always there.
Edmund was a fun-loving guy who enjoyed playing games with family, watching sports with his dad, and hunting. Whether it be hunting deer or hunting eggs at the adult Easter egg hunt. His competitive nature made it so much fun to watch. He would slip and slide down the hills to try to get the most eggs, sometimes falling on the way. His personality was one to be desired and he will be greatly missed by all his family and friends. We love you Edmund and can’t wait to see you again one day.
