The annual Fourth of July fireworks spectacular is set for July 3 at Lykins Park.

Gates open at 5:30 p.m. and from 6:30-9 will be Mechanical Animals & Foam Fest.

DJ Lynn Toler starts pinning at 7.

The main event starts at 10.

Food vendors such as Mama D’s Eats and Treats, L & L Carts, B & T Novelties and Lemonade, Kathy’s Snack Shack, SnoBiz and more will be in attendance.

Reminder about city firework ordinance

The Winchester Police Department would like to remind all city citizens that fireworks can be sold now and can be discharged between those same dates, between 10 a.m. to 11 p.m.

The WPD asks that everyone please be aware of their neighbors and friends when celebrating, and that fireworks should not be discharged in the direction of anyone or anyones property.
