Jackie Lloyd “Jack” Wise died on June 21, at his home where he loved to sit outside and survey the farm. Jack was born on October 20, 1931, in Scott County to JC and Lena Wise. Jack was an integral part of the farming community in Clark County. Jack sponsored Future Farmers of America, Young Farmers of America and Conservation Junior Board during his teaching career. He was a member of the Farm Bureau board, the Clark County Conservation board, the Clark County Fair Board, the Cattleman’s Association, the Saddle Club and inducted into the Clark County Agriculture Hall of Fame in 1999. Jack and Joan were lifelong members of First Baptist Church and Jack was a Deacon for many years.
