Absentee voting is underway in Clark County.
For those wishing to vote in-person, excused absentee, they may do so at the Clark County Clark’s office on May 4th, 5th, and 6th from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m., Monday, May 9th, from 8 a.m. to 5 p.m., and Tuesday and Wednesday, May 10th and 11th, from 8 a.m. to 4 p.m.
Election Day — May 17th–voting locations; polls will be open from 6 a.m. to 6 p.m.
Voting Center locations
• Clark County Courthouse, 34 S. Main St.
• Campbell Junior High School, 620 Boone Ave.
• Strode Station Elementary, 1750 Martin Luther King Jr. Blvd.
• Extension Office Annex, 1400 Fortune Dr.
• Rogers Parrish Clark County Station 3, 125 New Log Lick Rd. (for Goodes precinct only. Goodes precinct voters may also vote at any of the vote centers)
Candidate Forum
The Winchester-Clark County Chamber of Commerce, WWKY radio and the Sun will host its final candidate forum starting 6 p.m. Monday at the Clark County Cooperative Extension Office located at 1400 Fortune Drive.
The event will features candidates running for the U.S. Senate and House of Representatives.
The public is encouraged to attend the events, and for those not able to be there in person, the forums will be live-streamed on the chamber’s Facebook page, and broadcast live on WWKY 102.9 FM/990 AM.
The Sun will have a reporter in attendance for each forum, and a full write-up of the event will be available online the next day and in print in this Friday’s paper.
