The George Rogers Clark Cardinals rolled to a 77-36 win in the first round of the KHSAA Sweet 16 Wednesday evening at Rupp Arena in Lexington.
The Cards put away 14th Region champs Perry County Central to advance to the second round of the state tournament. Their opponent will be the winner of Wednesday’s late game between North Laurel and Pikeville. The Cards and the winner of this matchup will tip things off Friday at 1:30 p.m.
