The George Rogers Clark Lady Cards picked up a 42-35 win over Corbin in their opening game of the 2022 KHSAA Girls’ Sweet Sixteen in Rupp Arena Thursday night.
The win sends the Lady Cards to the second round of the tournament with an 8:30 p.m. tipoff Friday night against 7th Region champs Sacred Heart. Sacred Heart defeated Anderson County 48-38 Thursday following GRC’s game.
