There will be no school for Clark County students on Friday.
In a social media post late Thursday afternoon, Clark County Public Schools announced that students would have a traditional snow day.
“The ice storm and anticipated power outage is enough without the added stress of NTI packets, Google Meets, or teacher check-ins,” the post reads. “We hope everyone stays safe and warm during this crazy weather. We hope to see everyone on Monday!”
The district used a non-traditional learning day on Thursday, its eighth of the school year with the majority coming in January due to repeated outbreaks of wintry weather.
