It’s going to be cold, cold, cold this week in Clark County, so layer up and prepare for the winter weather ahead.
Several inches of snow fell across the region Wednesday, so classes for Clark County Public Schools were cancelled Thursday and Friday.
Friday’s National Weather Service forecast calls for the weather to be mostly sunny and cold, with a high near 25 and wind chill values as low as zero; northeast wind 7 to 10 mph. Maybe keep the kitchen faucet dripping a bit. And remember to keep pets inside.
Saturday will be sunny, with a high near 32 and there’ll be calm wind becoming southwest around 6 mph in the afternoon.
Sunday’s forecast calls for partly sunny skies with a high near 35.
Monday, maybe Tuesday, NWS says there is a 20-30 percent chance of snow.
