George Rogers Clark’s swim team did their best against swimming powerhouse Lafayette High School, but the Cards’ were no match for the Generals on Wednesday at the College Park Fitness Center.
However, Cards’ Coach Ashleigh Richardson remains very optimistic about the team’s skill and speed as the season progresses in the fast lane.
“We have less than a month of our season left before we head to Barbourville for our region meet,” she said.Swimmers are still continuing to improve and drop time. We are going to be putting in the work these next few weeks so that we can swim fast at regionals.”
Combined team scores had Lafayette scoring 209 points to GRC’s 101 points.
