James William “Pete” King, husband of Debra Roberson King, of North Middletown, Kentucky, departed this life on Wednesday, November 24, 2021, at his home with family by his side, having attained the age of 58 years. Pete was born in Winchester, Kentucky on May 27, 1963, the son of the late Ollie Truman and Betty Stanfield King, was a graduate of Clark County High School, a mechanic, a huge NASCAR fan, loved old cars, and was a member of Clintonville Christian Church.
In addition to his wife Debbie, he is survived by five children, Samantha (Tyler) Harris, Matthew (Brittany) King, Jonathan King, Jeremy King, Brooke Griffith; six grandchildren, Braxton Riddle, Samuel Harris, Wyatt King, Sadie Harris, Judson King, and Boston Yazell. Also surviving are two brothers, Mark King and Tim King; as well as numerous nieces, nephews, great nieces, and great nephews.
The funeral service for James William “Pete” King will be at 11:00 a.m. on Monday, November 29, 2021, at Clintonville Christian Church, officiated by Rev. Charles H. Kemp. Interment will be in Clintonville Cemetery. Visitation will be on Sunday, November 28, 2021, at Clintonville Christian Church from 6:00 p.m. – 8:00 p.m.
