Arrest reports, May 4-6

• Earnie L. Gipson, 48, second-degree possession of a controlled substance, drug unspecified.

• Brian K. Koenig, 53, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) under $500.

• Ruth Lane Watkins, 38, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine), second-degree disorderly conduct, public intoxication involving a controlled substance, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia.

• Billy Christopher, 43, public intoxication involving a controlled substance, second-degree disorderly conduct.

• Jennifer Lynn Clark, 48, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) under $500, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) first offense, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (opiod) first offense, buying/possessing drug paraphernalia.

• Antoinette Denee Estes, 33, public intoxication involving a controlled substance, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) under $500.

• Heather Lina Jones, 33, served a bench warrant for court, two counts; buying/possessing drug paraphernalia; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (methamphetamine) first offense; first-degree possession of a controlled substance (heroin) first offense.

• Richard A. Steves, served a bench warrant for court.

• Angela Renee Crowe, 44, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; third-degree possession of a controlled substance; second-degree promoting contraband; possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

• Ronald Thomas Daniels, 38, theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) under $500.

• India N. Johnson, third-degree terroristic threatening; resisting arrest; second-degree disorderly conduct; alcohol intoxication in a public place.

• Jesus Pineda, operating a motor vehicle under the influence of alcohol; careless driving;  possession of an open alcoholic beverage container in a motor vehicle.

Incident reports, May 4-6

• At 4:41 a.m. on May 4, Winchester Police took a report about the theft or unauthorized use of a 2014 black Buick at 250 Oxford Drive. The keys were left in the car.

• Police got a call at midnight May 4 about suspected drug activity in the 400 block of West Lexington Avenue.

• On May 4, 5 and 6, police got multiple calls about suspected drug activity on Calloway and Alabama streets including the alley between Georgia and Alabama street.

• At 6:48 p.m. May 4, police got a call about a male and female trying to break into a car on North Maple Street. Police arrested Ruth Watkins for second-degree disorderly conduct, public intoxication, possession of a controlled substance (meth) and buying or possessing drug paraphernalia.

• At 7:15 p.m. police got a call about shoplifting at 1215 W. Lexington Ave. and made an arrest.

• At 7:57 a.m. on May 5, police received a call that two laptops and a passport in a backpack were stolen from a vehicle on West Hickman Avenue.

• At 10:56 a.m. on May 5, Winchester Police received a request from another law enforcement agency for assistance to apprehend a suspect who has made threats to harm officers.

• Someone at 21 S. Third St. made a report of identity theft on May 5, telling police that someone stole his Social Security card and put their electrical service in his name.

• On May 5, police received a complaint that someone had stolen several items from 1859 Bypass Road, which is the address of Walmart. Police made an arrest. Less than an hour later, they got another shoplifting complaint from the same location.

• Police received a complaint May 5 from someone who said a friend stole a U-Haul truck.

• At 8:38 a.m. on May 6, police got a complaint from 402 Market St. that someone broke into a building and stole a lawn mower, a weed trimmer, an air compressor overnight by cutting the locks.

• At 12:35 p.m. May 6, police worked an injury accident at Lexington Avenue and Caudill.

• Police got a call May 6 from 16 S. Maple St. about items stolen from a storage shed, including a lawn mower, baseball cards and furniture.

• On May 6, officers receive a complaint about shoplifting at Walmart.

• Police took a report on an assault on May 6 on Virginia Avenue.

• At 11:18 p.m. on May 6, police got a report of someone trying to sell narcotics on South Maple Street.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

Fire and EMS reports for May 6-9

From Thursday through Sunday, Winchester Fire-EMS responded to 53 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, 13 respiratory cases, three seizures, two overdoses and one diabetic case.

• On Thursday at 12:35 a.m., Winchester Fire-EMS responded to a motor vehicle accident at 100 Hospital Drive.

• On Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accidents at 951 Bypass Road, Maple Street and Lexington Avenue, and the Bypass and April Way.

• At 11:33 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Bloomfield Road.

• On Sunday at 10:21 a.m., firefighters responded to a call of a tree down on a utility line at 160 Magnolia.

• On Sunday at 5:35 p.m., firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Combs Ferry and Todds Road.

• At 6:34 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the five-mile marker on Mountain Parkway.
