GRC Hoops came on strong in the second half to take care of Nicholas County 61-35 in the first game of the Girls 10th Region Tournament at GRC Arena.

Leading 21-17 at the half, the girls pulled away in the third, outscoring the Lady Jackets 20-9.

Bri Byars led all scorers with 23 points.

GRC Hoops now faces Bishop Brossart in Monday’s semifinal. Brossart rolled over St. Patrick 56-25 in the nightcap.
