Ada Rainey Adams, 92, widow of Charles H. Adams Jr., passed away Thursday, March 18, 2021, at Bourbon Heights Nursing Facility in Paris, Kentucky. She was born in Clark County on May 19, 1928, to the late Lewis Tillman and Annie Joyce Shearer Rainey. She was the youngest of 11 brothers and sisters. She retired from A&P Grocery Store as head cashier and bookkeeper. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Winchester, Kentucky.
She is survived by two daughters, Charlotte A. (Joe) White, Alice A. (Greg) Keller; two grandsons, Gregory Keller Jr., N. Aaron Harp; one granddaughter, Jennifer Lynn Keller; four great-grandchildren, Austin Allen Phillips, Alexis Diane Keller, Ashton Tyler Harp, Aniston Harp; three step grandchildren, Sean White, Marcy DeSanto, and Karlee Gray. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
Services will be 1 p.m., Tuesday, March 23, 2021, at Scobee Funeral Home by Pastor Tony Stang. Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. Pallbearers will be Greg Keller Sr., Greg Keller Jr., Joseph White, Aaron Harp, Austin Phillips, Greg Wehr, and Don McCauslin.
Visitation will be from noon until the service time.
