Opal Lee Moore Greene, 81, wife of Asa Miller Greene, went to be with her Lord and Savior on Saturday, Oct. 24, 2020, at her home. 

A native of Winchester, Kentucky, she was born on Dec. 5, 1938, to the late Arch and Nanny Cope Moore. 

She was a homemaker, devoted Christian and a member of First Church of God Colby Road.

In addition to her loving husband of 64 years, she is survived by four children, Teresa Carpenter, Debbie (Joey) Leyendecker, Terri Greene and Sherri Greene; six grandchildren, Brooke (Scott) Taulbee, Matthew Speck, Jerod (Julie) Speck, Brady Wolfrom, Briana Greene and Brandon Greene; six great-grandchildren and three siblings, Herbert (Mary) Moore, Velma Nixon and Shirley (Alma) Moore.

She was preceded in death by her parents; son, Bobby Greene; and brothers, Bradley and Raymond Moore.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Wednesday, Oct. 28, 2020, at First Church of God Colby Road by Pastors Alan Hutchinson, and Gary Brown. 

Burial will follow in the Winchester Cemetery. 

Pallbearers will be Don Cartwright, Kevin Wilson, Stewart Wilson, Joey Leyendecker, William Stoneking, Jeff Smyth, and Dave Shelton. Honorary pallbearers will be Matthew Speck, Jerod Speck, Brady Wolfrom, Bob and Letha Feeback, Bob Cartwright, Ron Ingram, Ralph Palmer, and many special friends from Ashland Inc. and Valvoline, LLC.

Visitation will be Tuesday from 5 to 7 p.m. at First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road, Winchester, Kentucky 40391.

In keeping with government guidelines, the family requests that masks be worn and social distancing be followed.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Hospice East, 407 Shoppers Drive, Winchester, KY 40391 and/or First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road, Winchester, KY 40391.
