CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Nathan T. Dillon, 23, of Evans Mill, New York, was charged Sunday with speeding, driving on a suspended operator’s license and driving under the influence.

— David Ballard, 43, of Woodford Drive, was charged Oct. 16 with driving under the influence and no seat belt.

— Shannon Ward, 43, of Edison Court, was charged Tuesday with first-degree wanton endangerment.

— April McKeehan, 46, of Memorial Park, was charged Wednesday with driving under the influence, reckless driving and driving on a suspended operator’s license.

Reports

— At 4:30 p.m. Oct. 16, deputies were called to Irvine Road for a burglary complaint. Multiple firearms were missing after someone broke into a residence.

— At 6:18 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to Clintonville Road concerning two stolen horses.

— At 5:02 p.m. Oct. 15, deputies were called to Robyn Drive after two political signs were destroyed by two juveniles.

— At 11:28 a.m. Oct. 9, deputies were called to Paris Road concerning a theft of tools.

— At 4:20 p.m. Tuesday, deputies were called to Ford Hampton Road for a domestic disturbance and a report of shots being fired.

— At 1:25 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Iron Works Road after someone broke into a barn and stole an air compressor.

— At 11:53 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Apple Market, Van Meter Road, concerning an employee theft.

Accidents

— At 1:16 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Rockwell Road in which a vehicle driven by John G. Rogers of Mimosa drive was traveling west when it collided with a vehicle, driven by Charles T. Bowen of Williamstown, as it turned from Gawthrop Drive. Rogers was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on the Mountain Parkway near the 8 mile marker in which Prejesh Philips of Prospect lost control of his vehicle when it hydroplaned. The vehicle went over an embankment and struck a tree. One passenger in the vehicle, Shaile Philips of Prospect was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 12:04 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Sewell Shop Road.

— At 1:15 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Rockwell Road and Gawthrop Drive.

— At 5 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Lexington and Clintonville roads.

— At 5:59 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Mount Sterling and Goose Creek roads.

— At 7:57 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Rockwell Road.

— At 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 8 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 7:24 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Irvine Road.

— At 6:40 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Iron Works Road.

 

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— James Beschorner, 57, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and no tail lamps.

— Willis Anthony Curtis, 44, was charged Monday with driving on suspended operator’s license, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts) and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Timothy Wayne McIntosh, 21, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, first-degree promoting contraband and was served two warrants.

— James Thomas Reynolds, 36, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, careless driving, driving on a suspended operator’s license and driving under the influence.

— James B. Townsend, 31, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and was served a warrant.

— John Nathan Kesterman, 47, was charged Wednesday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance, possession of marijuana and was served a warrant.

— Jamie Sue Stamper, 36, was charged Wednesday with possession of drug paraphernalia and first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts).

— Roger Dale Watkins, 47, was charged Wednesday with excessive windshield tint, driving on a suspended operator’s license, possession of drug paraphernalia, first-degree possession of a controlled substance (two counts), probation violation and contempt of court.

— At 10:36 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Bypass Road after someone broke into a trailer and tool box.

— At 1:54 p.m. Monday, officers were called to North Maple Street concerning the theft of a package.

— At 2:29 p.m. Monday, officers took a report at the police department concerning a stolen package.

— At 2:57 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Fulton Road concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 11:14 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to East Broadway Street concerning an attempted burglary.

— At 4:59 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to East Broadway Street concerning a stolen trailer.

— At 5:25 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to South Highland Street concerning an assault.

— At 2:46 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to South Main Street concerning a theft of binoculars and a range finder.

Accidents

— At 9 p.m. Tuesday, officers responded to an injury accident on North Main Street in which Phillip Curtis of Lexington said he was turning left from East Washington Street and struck a pedestrian, James Oakley of South Burns Avenue, in the crosswalk. Oakley said he had the crossing signal. Oakley was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center with a possible shoulder injury.

— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 41 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, six respiratory cases, one stroke, three seizures and one overdose.

— At 1:16 p.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Rockwell Road and Gawthrop Drive.

— At 4:45 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Pedro Way. It was a false alarm.

— At 5 p.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington and Clintonville roads.

— At 6 p.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Mount Sterling and Goose Creek roads.

— At 10:05 a.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 8 mile marker on the Mountain Parkway.

— At 12:48 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Pedro Way. It was a false alarm.

— At 1:01 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Clark Middle School, Martin Luther King Jr. Drive.

— At 7:16 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Irvine Road.

— At 9:01 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Main and Washington streets.

— At 6:34 a.m. Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident on Iron Works Road.

— At 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Rural King, Bypass Road.

— At 11:54 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Buckner Street.

— At 5:51 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a transformer fire on Sterling Street.
