Tucker reappointed to statewide committee
Gov. Andy Beshear has reappointed Andrea Tucker of Winchester as a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Advisory Committee. Tucker shall serve for a term expiring Nov. 15, 2023.

Rotary meeting Friday
The Winchester Rotary Club will meet via Zoom at noon on Friday, Oct. 9 . The guest speaker is Nancy Turner, president of the KY Association of Convention and Visitors Bureaus. Winchester woman part of WKU homecoming court
A Winchester woman is one of 28 students who are candidates for homecoming 2020 queen at Western Kentucky University.
Included on the ballot is Ta’Myha Calloway of Winchester, daughter of Chris and Tammy Calloway. She is a fashion merchandising major, and is sponsored by National Pan-Hellenic Council.
The 2020 queen will be crowned in a ceremony at 6:30 p.m. Friday at Houchens Industries-L.T. Smith Stadium. Candidates are participating in activities during Homecoming Week including a banquet on Tuesday, an interview on Wednesday and a volunteer experience on Thursday.
WKU students will cast their votes for queen in online balloting on Wednesday.
