Elizabeth S. Hackworth, 79, passed away Sept. 7. She was born July 28, 1941, to the late Uri and Mattie Barnes Hackworth in Irvine, Ky.

She is survived by a son, George (Gabriela) Patrick; step-daughter Wavelene Cardona of Powell Co,; sisters Nettie Lykins of Ohio and Betty Jamison of Georgia; grandchild Mianna Jo Patrick and eight other grandchildren and two great-grandchildren.
Private services have been held.
