CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— Jason McVey, 41, of 123 Jefferson St., was charged Aug. 21 with third-degree burglary.

— Amber Hill, 19, of 215 Winn Ave., was charged Aug. 21 with improper signal, license to be in possession, no registration receipt and possession of marijuana.

— Rodney M. johns, 29, of Union City, Indiana, was charged Saturday with receiving stolen property.

— Ashley Highley, 30, of 9 Wilson Lane, was charged Saturday with reckless driving, first-degree wanton endangerment, no operator’s license, failure to wear seat belt, failure to produce insurance card, no registration receipt and driving under the influence.

— Shannon Ware, 43, of 2859 Ford Hampton Road, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, first-degree wanton endangerment and prescription controlled substance not in proper container.

Reports

— At 8:17 a.m. Monday, deputies were called to 122 Augusta Drive concerning the theft of a wallet from a vehicle.

— At 12:53 p.m. Aug. 19, deputies were called to 4911 Rockwell Road concerning an attempted theft from a payment drop box at Clark Propane Plus.

— At 9 a.m. Aug. 20, deputies were called to concerning a person threatening to shoot the tires on a vehicle using Old Stone Church Road.

— At 8:02 p.m. Aug. 21, deputies were called to 3235 Muddy creek Road concerning the theft of a chain saw.

— At 12:39 p.m. Saturday deputies were called to 1501 Ford Road concerning an accident between a track hoe and a parked vehicle on private property.

— At 12:44 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to Fern Court concerning three juveniles attempting to break into cars.

— At 6:45 a.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 48 Watts Road after a firearm and a backpack were taken from a vehicle during the night.

— At 4:10 p.m. Wednesday, deputies were called to 7 Cherokee Court concerning a theft of items from a vehicle during the night.

Accidents

— At 8:11 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to an injury accident near 4880 White Conkwright Road in which Lillian Crawford of 1500 Pine Ridge Road was traveling east and swerved to avoid a dog. Her vehicle went off the road and crossed the road again, where it struck a parked vehicle owned by Andrew Fisher. A passenger, Mashayla T. Gorman was extricated from the vehicle by firefighters and transported to Clark Regional Medical Center.

— At 3:52 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 3250 McClure Road.

— At 8:11 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at 4880 White Conkwright Road.

— At 11:40 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Ford Hampton Road.

— At 5:16 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Becknerville and Water Works roads.

— At 6:46 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 6 Stoney Brook Drive.

— At 9:16 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Iron Works Road.

— At 12:13 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 4274 Colby Road.

— At 10:07 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Fox-Quisenberry Lane.

— At 2 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at McClure Road and Casa Landa Way.

— At 10:01 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Brookshire Lane for an investigation.

Charged

— Ashley Renee Lainhart, 35, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Bobby Lee Noble, 34, was charged Monday with second-degree indecent exposure and public intoxication.

— John F. Nunan, 56, was charged Monday with driving under the influence and reckless driving.

— Joshua Dillon Proffitt, 25, was charged Monday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance and was served a bench warrant.

— Douglas Kirt Mullins, no age given, was charged Tuesday with possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Anthony E. Page, 58, was charged Tuesday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Ashley L. Halsey, 30, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct and third-degree assault.

— Kyle J. Hicks, 31, was charged Wednesday with first-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property – firearm, first-degree trafficking in a controlled substance, possession of marijuana, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— Brian Scott Turner, 26, was charged Wednesday with first-degree wanton endangerment, fourth-degree assault, driving under the influence and resisting arrest.

— At 2:26 a.m. Monday, officers were called to Maple and B4roadway streets concerning a man walking around naked. Bobby Lee Noble was arrested and charged with second-degree indecent exposure and public intoxication.

— At 6:33 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 605 Sydney Court concerning the theft of a wallet, phone and disc golf items from an unlocked vehicle.

— At 7:25 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 412 Tremont Lane concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 7:28 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 4 Shelley Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 7:54 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 127 Gibson Way concerning a theft of electrical breakers from a construction site.

— At 8:26 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 610 Sydney Court concerning the theft of a handgun from a vehicle.

— At 11:29 a.m. Monday, officers were called to 604 Sydney Court concerning the theft of a handgun from a vehicle. The vehicle was left unlocked.

— At 11:45 a.m. Monday, officers took a report at the police department concerning the theft of a cell phone. The caller left the phone in a shopping cart at Walmart.

— At 5:52 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 19 Buckner St. concerning the theft of a pocket knife from a vehicle.

— At 8:27 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 3485 Stamper Drive concerning an identity theft complaint.

— At 8:31 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a the

ft involving two women, who were bagging more items than they scanned. Ashley Renee Lainhart was cited for theft by unlawful taking.

— At 11:43 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Brown Proctor Apartments, 108 S. Main St., concerning a theft from a bank account.

— At 5:32 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 5 W. Broadway St. concerning an assault.

— At 7:32 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a theft of clothes and knives. Anthony E. Page was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 7:34 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 30 Ashland Ave. after someone broke a — At 11:15 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 3 Kentucky St. after someone tried to break into a residence.

— At 12:12 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 193 Westside Drive after a man pulled a gun on the caller. Brian Scott Turner was arrested on multiple charges.

— At 9:16 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 202 Central Ave. concerning a stolen mini motorbike during the night.

— At 11:10 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 109 Springmist Lane concerning an assault.

— At 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 605 Banana Drive concerning a stolen vehicle.

— At 3:35 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report for an identity theft complaint.

— At 6:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, for a person running down the hall trying to attack employees. Ashley Halsey was arrested on multiple charges.

Accidents

— At 9:34 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to an injury accident on West Lexington Avenue in which a pedestrian, David J. Munson of 10 Taylor Ave., was walking along the road and was struck by a vehicle driven by Jeffrey W. Hensley of 113 Eastridge Drive. Police said neither party saw the other until the incident occurred. Munson was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 46 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, five respiratory cases, one diabetic case, three seizures, five overdoses and one obstetric case.

— At 8:12 p.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 4880 White Conkwright Road.

— At 5:15 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Colby and Becknerville roads.

— At 11:30 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Winchester City Hall, 32 Wall St. It was a false alarm.

— At 2 p.m. Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at McClure Road and Casa Landa Way.

— At 9:35 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington and Long avenues.
