WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Michael G. Tipton, 32, was charged Monday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Misty Ann Williams, 42, was charged Wednesday with disorderly conduct and fourth-degree assault.

Reports

— At 6:58 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1221 Bypass road concerning a theft. Michael G. Tipton was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 3:20 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 184 Westside Drive concerning a woman threatening to burn the apartment building.

— At 8:10 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 625 N. Maple St. for a breaking and entering complaint. A pressure washer was missing.

— At 9:56 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 5 E. Hickman St. after someone broke into a building during the night and took a handgun and collectibles.

— At 8:04 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 250 Oxford Drive after someone broke into a vehicle and took a bag containing cash.

Accidents

— At 12:44 a.m. Sunday, officers responded to an injury accident on Boone Avenue in which Menifee Francway of 1 Woodland Drive was traveling on Boone Avenue when he lost control of his motorcycle. Francway told officers someone ran him off the road, but could not describe the vehicle. A witness said he was stopped for a red light when the motorcycle passed and then flipped several times. Francway was transported to the University of Kentucky Medical Center.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 3:53 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near the 101-mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident at Becknerville and McClure roads.

— At 3:37 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Pine Ridge Road.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 31 general medical calls, five general medical calls, one respiratory case, one diabetic case and two strokes.

— At 2:06 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington Avenue and Thoroughbred Plaza.

— At 5:19 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to a carbon monoxide detector sounding at 345 E. Broadway St.

— At 9:26 p.m. Monday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at the Clark County Detention Center. It was a false alarm.

— At 3:52 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 101-mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 6:43 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Lexington and Maryland avenues.

— At 8:15 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 27 Park Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 9:43 p.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Becknerville and McClure roads.

— At 10:41 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 14 Park Ave. It was a false alarm.

— At 6:38 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 124 College St. It was a false alarm.
