14 COVID cases reported in four days

The Clark County Health Department reported 14 new positive cases of COVID-19 Thursday through Sunday.

On Thursday, the department reported five cases, on Friday two, on Saturday three, and on Sunday four.

The Sun did not receive a report on Monday’s cases in time for the Tuesday print edition of the paper.

Five individuals have now met criteria for recovery. Therefore, the health department is working 33 active cases of the 227, cumulative total, positive cases identified in the county.

Of the active cases, one is a resident of Fountain Circle and 32 represent the community at large.

In total, COVID-19 has been identified as a contributing factor in seven deaths in the county.
