CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Marcus N. Higgins, 32, of 1 Denny Ave., was charged Thursday with driving under the influence, driving on a suspended operator’s license and failure to produce insurance card.
Reports
— At 3:40 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 6582 Athens Boonesboro Road for a vandalism complaint. A window was broken on the caller’s truck.
— At 6:45 a.m. Thursday, deputies were called to 881 Pilot View Road after a vehicle struck a tree. No one was around the vehicle.
Accidents
— At 5:29 a.m. Thursday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Mount Sterling Road in which a vehicle driven by Marcus N. Higgins of 1 Denny Ave. was traveling west when it struck a guardrail in a curve and hit a parked vehicle. Both vehicles caught fire. Higgins sustained apparent minor injuries. Higgins was charged with driving under the influence and other charges.

— Krista Anne Becraft, 35, was charged Saturday with theft by unlawful taking.
— Elizabeth Dawn Tolliver, 38, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 8:33 p.m. Thursday, officers were called to 117 Andover Drive after someone broke into a house.
— At 12:39 a.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning an assault on Oliver Street.
— At 2:28 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 426 E. Broadway St. after someone broke into a vehicle during the night and took a handgun.
— At 2:33 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 122 Stevenson Heights concerning a neighbor making threats.
— At 5:16 p.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning a person stalking the caller’s home and making accusations.
— At 8:42 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Rural King, 951 Bypass Road, concerning a theft.
— At 6:52 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 200 Tyler Banks Court concerning a theft of a license plate from a vehicle.
— At 9:27 p.m. Saturday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a counterfeit $100 bill.
— At 12:40 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to Central Avenue and Alabama Street concerning an assault.
— At 9:30 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 412 E. Broadway St. concerning a stolen wallet from a vehicle.
— At 1:25 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 423 Country Club Drive concerning the theft of three bicycles.

— At 8:32 p.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to a grass and hay fire near Settlers Lane.
— At 12:21 p.m. Friday, firefighters were called to 1651 Winchester Road in Bourbon County for an investigation.
— At 8:40 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Dry Fork Road.
— At 12:58 p.m. Friday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Calmes Boulevard.
— At 1:44 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted another agency with a call at 924 Hackberry Circle.
— At 3:08 p.m. Saturday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Embs Road.
— At 12:02 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on 2355 Red River Road.
— At 5:08 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Ford Hampton Road.

— From Thursday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 64 general medical calls, seven cardiac cases, three respiratory cases, five diabetic cases, one stroke and one overdose.
— At 5:29 a.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Mount Sterling Road and Dykes Lane.
— At 10:18 a.m. Thursday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Casa Landa Way and Stoney Brook Drive.
— At 1:43 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a fuel spill at 1661 Bypass Road.
— At 6:14 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire at 131 Kentucky St.
— At 5:15 a.m.Saturday, firefighters responded to a Dumpster Fire at 225 Oxford Drive.
— At 7:42 a.m. and 10:02 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 1400 Fortune Drive. Both incidents were false alarms.
— At 12:02 p.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 2355 Red River Road.
— At 5:58 p.m. Sunday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at Log Lick and Old Log Lick roads.
— At 6:20 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to 608 W. Lexington Road for a smell of gas.
— At 7:30 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 98 Pendleton St. It was a false alarm.
