Elva Arellano De Lopez, 83, wife of Ismael Lopez, passed away Saturday, July 18, 2020 at St. Joe East Hospital in Lexington. She was born on Nov. 1, 1936 to the late Silviano Arellano and Hermelinda Quezada. She was a homemaker.

In addition to her husband, she is survived by four daughters, Imelda (Efrain Guzman) Lopez, Hilda (Eduardo Guzman) Lopez, Alberita Lopez, and Lorena (Oscar) Lopez; five sons, Ismael (Maria Torres) Lopez, Silviano (Adriana Hernandez) Lopez, Efrain (Amy) Lopez, Francisco (Gabriela Mendoza) Lopez, and Sergio (Yuri Morales) Lopez; 37 grandkids and 18 great-grandkids, and three siblings, Ramon Arellano, Delia Arellano, and Rogelio Arellano.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter, Elba Alicia; and two sisters, Melanie Arellano and Alicia Arellano.

A funeral mass will held at their family farm on Boonesboro Road across from George Rogers Clark High School at 12 p.m. on Tuesday, July 21. Burial will follow. Visitation will begin at 11 a.m. on Monday, July 20, 2020 and continue all evening at their farm.
