WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Thomas D. Wilson, 44, was charged Tuesday with driving under the influence, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, third-degree possession of a controlled substance and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— John Eugene Luksavage, 36, was charged Wednesday with receiving stolen property under $500.

Reports

— At 8:25 a.m. Monday, officers took a report concerning a person posting images of the caller on an explicit website.

— At 12:42 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 18 Georgia St. concerning a stolen cell phone.

— At 12:56 p.m. Monday, officers were called to Martin Luther King Jr. Drive for an armed robbery.

— At 2:22 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 1569 Bypass oad concerning a theft of multiple items.

— At 10:07 p.m. Monday, officers were called to 4 W. Washington St. after the caller recovered her stolen vehicle.

— At 9:22 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 31 First St. after someone threw a brick through a window.

— At 11:59 a.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 204 Jackson St. after someone stole a rabbit.

— At 2:58 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 17 Cook Ave. after the caller’s landlord reportedly kicked her out and threw her possessions in the trash.

— At 5:51 p.m. Tuesday, officers were called to 359 S. Burns Ave. concerning a person making threats.

— At 6:21 p.m. Tuesday, officers took a report concerning a tenant threatening the caller with a baseball bat.

— At 9:39 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 701 W. Lexington Ave. concerning a threatening note.

— At 1:33 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 322 S. Burns Ave. concerning a stolen package.

— At 3:30 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 120 S. Main St. for an unauthorized purchase on a debit card.

— At 6:13 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 207 Mutual Ave. concerning a robbery. John Lukasavage was arrested and charged with receiving stolen property.

 

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 8:22 a.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Ford Road.

— At 7:03 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call at Bypass Road and Interstate 64.

— At 10:19 p.m. Monday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Athens Boonesboro Road.

— At 7:23 a.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 1:55 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a vehicle fire near the 103 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 12:26 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Miller Hunt Road.

— AT 6:11 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Athens Boonesboro Road.

— At 6:16 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to Log Lick Road for a heat exposure.

— At 7:09 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Wades Mill Road.

 

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Monday through Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 35 general medical calls, five cardiac cases, two respiratory cases, two diabetic cases, three seizures, one stroke and one obstetric case.

— At 11:11 a.m. Monday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 101 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 7:23 a.m. Tuesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near the 100 mile marker on Interstate 64.

— At 11:32 p.m. Tuesday, firefighters responded to a tree fire at 73 Holiday Road.

— At 9:01 a.m. Wednesday, firefighters were called to 814 Bypass Road for a smell of smoke. It was a false alarm.
