LETTER: Voting in person was smooth, easy

Getting your Trinity Audio player ready...

I wanted to share just a quick thought about in-person voting on Election Day. I voted in person in the Primary Election at Campbell Junior High School. In the all the more than 40 years I have had the privilege to vote, I would have to say this time around was the most efficient, fastest and easiest I have voted. From the time I parked, voted and was back out was about five to seven minutes total. From the looks of the parking lot when I pulled in, I thought I would be there for a while, but that was not the case. The process set up worked for efficient voting. Mask/face shields were being worn, and there were plenty of workers directing where and when to vote. Great job, and I encourage voting in person, if you are able and in town when at all possible.
