Ira Brock Daugherty

With deepest sorrow, we announce that Ira Brock Daugherty, passed away tragically on Monday, 6/15/2020 in Winchester, KY. Ira was born in Maysville, KY on 2/28/1984.

His early years were consumed by school, soccer, family and friends. After 9/11 he answered our nation’s call to service and now is reunited with both his grandfathers, Carl Lind and William Daugherty who also served our country with pride.

Ira was deployed to Iraq in 2007, where he served with the 38th Engineer Co., 4th BDE, 2nd Infantry Division. He was honorably discharged from the service due to injuries resulting in his disability. He received the Army Commendation Medal for his service.

Ira is survived by his son, Alec Brock Daugherty, parents Brock and Susan Daugherty, grandmothers Barbara Daugherty and Barbara Lind, sisters and families Devon, Brian, Avery and Wyatt Emerson and Shannon, Baron, Evan and Elin Zaharanuc, and by his beloved Whitney Epperson.

Celebration of Life to be held outdoors at 102 Rosebud Lane, Winchester, KY on June 27th at 10am.

Interment will be at Arlington National Cemetery
