“Sterling Health Care is committed to breaking barriers preventing folks from getting the care they need, and we wanted to ensure top quality care remained available to all women in Winchester,” said Alex Conrad, CEO and executive director of Sterling Health Care.

Dr. Pascuzzi, who has owned Women’s Health of Winchester since 1985, has been working closely with SHC – Winchester to transition patient care after his practice closes on May 21. He will remain on staff to provide in-office gynecology services.

“I am grateful and honored to be given this opportunity to continue serving my patients, as I have for the past 35 years,” Pascuzzi said. “Sterling Health Care’s commitment to the women of Central and Eastern Kentucky is greatly appreciated.”

Along with Pascuzzi, Dr. John Greene and Dr. Leighann Doane will be on staff for obstetrics and gynecology services. Joanna Banks will return to the practice to serve as a nurse midwife and Rachel Gilliam, a nurse practitioner, will also see patients.

The practice will continue its longstanding partnership with Clark Regional Medical Center for labor, delivery and surgical procedures.

“We are thrilled to welcome Sterling Women’s Care – Winchester to our hospital team,” said William Haugh, chief executive officer of Clark Regional Medical Center. “Drs. Doane, Greene and Pascuzzi and providers Joanna Banks and Rachel Gilliam bring years of experience in providing women’s care for all ages. Together we are dedicated to helping women live their healthiest life and have the healthiest pregnancy while delivering close to home at Clark Regional Medical Center.”
