Betty Jean Walden Yeary passed away Jan. 5, 2020. She was born June 18, 1924, in Columbus, Missouri, to Marguerite Osborne Davis and Ernest Clay Walden.

In addition to her parents, Betty was preceded in death by her husband, Joe Clifton Yeary; two sisters, Louise Hoey and Rebecca Beach; and her grandson, Devin Michael Holbrook.

Betty is survived by her daughter, Betty Jo Yeary Holbrook (David), and son, David Wayne Yeary; granddaughters Tierney Elyse Greer (Lance), Phoebe Shea Holbrook (Rex); and great-grandchildren Leo and Tad Greer.

She also had many nieces and nephews whom she loved dearly, and bonus family Doug Holbrook (Carrie), Annie Fitzgerald, Beth and Grant Willoughby, Gina Reck Lindsey and many, many friends.

A memorial celebration will be held at Rolan Taylor Funeral Home on Tuesday, Jan. 28, at 1 p.m. Visitation from noon to 1 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be directed to the Clark County Public Library.
