Services at Forest Grove Christian

Worship services at Forest Grove Christian Church, 4733 Old Boonesboro Road, are at 10:30 a.m. Sundays. Services at Salem Church

This Sunday, the folks at Salem Church at Pine Grove, 312 Combs Ferry Road, will join with brothers and sisters in Christ around the world to observe the “International Day of Prayer for the Persecuted Church,” as we pray for those who are being tortured, imprisoned or martyred because of their faith. The Sacrament of Communion will be celebrated, and a pre-Thanksgiving potluck luncheon will follow. Worship at the “Small Country Church with a Big Heart for Jesus” begins at 11 a.m.

Food pantry at First Baptist

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., operates a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church.

Services at First Presbyterian

—Worship services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Adult, children and youth Sunday school classes begin at 9:30 a.m. downstairs.
