Dozens of community members and visitors from other counties filed into classrooms around Robert D. Campbell Junior High School Friday morning.
Visitors watched the RDC orchestra perform, the Caring Cardinal Coffee Cart in action and more.
Students guided visitors on walkthroughs of core classes as well as career exploration classes to give the community a full breadth of what RDC offers.
Back in the library, visitors learned about how students are “encouraging the heart” and learned more about RDC’s monthlong Anti-Bullying campaign.
While chowing down on food from the gourmet hot dog bar, visitors watched a performance by the RDC chorus and learned more about RDC’s Amazing Shake program and employability education.
Lastly, visitors saw how teachers are using Google Classroom to enhance learning and finished the day walking through a gallery showcase of student’s projects.
