CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Charged
— Hunter R. Spears, 25, of Lexington was charged Saturday with speeding, driving under the influence and possession of an open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle.
Reports
— At 3:09 p.m. Saturday, deputies were called to 1625 Cabin Creek Road concerning a neighbor shooting firearms.
— At 10:!13 a.m. Sept. 5, deputies were called to Fasmart Marathon, 5400 Revilo Road, concerning an employee theft.
— At 11:30 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to 5661 Van Meter Road concerning the theft of a lawn mower and other tools.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 38 general medical calls, four respiratory cases, one stroke, three seizures and one overdose.
— At 11:30 a.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to a brush fire at Lincoln and Flanagan streets.

Charged
— Tyler Aaron Benoit, 25, was charged Friday with first-degree wanton endangerment.
— Derek Damrell, 37, was charged Sunday with careless driving, no operator’s license, trafficking in a controlled substance and tampering with physical evidence.
— James C. Dorris, 34, was charged Sunday with first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— Tait Parish, 39, was charged Friday with fraudulent use of ID card and theft by unlawful taking.
— Steven R. Stumbo, 43, was charged Sunday with driving on a DUI-suspended operator’s license, possession of a handgun by a convicted felon, receiving stolen property and possession of drug paraphernalia.

— At 1:46 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 233 Oxford Drive after someone threw an ax through a window.
— At 4:43 a.m. Friday, officers were called to 916 Muddy Creek Road concerning an assault. Tyler Aaron Benoit was arrested and charged with first-degree wanton endangerment.
— At 9:51 a.m. Friday, officers took a report concerning the theft of a purse and handgun from a vehicle.
— At 12:03 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 14 Seventh St. concerning a stolen lawn mower.
— At 1:13 p.m. Friday, officers were called to Walmart, 1859 Bypass Road, concerning a person trying to break into a vehicle. Tait Parish was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking and fraudulent use of an ID card.
— At 7:31 p.m. Friday, officers were called to 100 Buffalo Trace after a motorcycle was vandalized.

— At 8:57 a.m. Sunday, officers were called to 104 Pedro Way concerning two suspected shoplifters. James C. Dorris was arrested for first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
— At 4:54 p.m. Sunday, officers took a report concerning a stolen cell phone.
— At 7:39 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to 175 Chatham Place concerning a theft of medication and a vehicle.
— At 10:32 p.m. Sunday, officers were called to Clark Regional Medical Center, 175 Hospital Drive, concerning a possible sexual assault.
