This year marks 232 years since the Sept.17, 1787, signing of the final draft of the Constitution at the Constitutional Convention in Philadelphia.

The Hart Chapter of the Daughters of the American Revolution celebrated the anniversary during its annual Constitution Day celebration in front of the Clark County Courthouse Tuesday.

Winchester Mayor Ed Burtner and Clark County Judge-Executive Chris Pace read a proclamation during the event proclaiming the week of Sept.17-23 as Constitution Week.
