George Rogers Clark’s girls golf team continued their successful season with another big victory over the weekend.
The team competed in the West Carter Girls Invitational at Hidden Cove Golf Course in Olive Hill on Saturday.
The Cardinals won first place in the tournament, shooting a 357 as a team.
Hannah Curreri led GRC with a wonderful outing, posting a total of 76, good enough for a first place individual finish.
Aniston Culton also had herself a great day on the course, posting an 85, trailing only Curreri and finishing the tournament in second place individually.
Brenna Rose finished in fifth place individually, shooting an 89 on the day.
Alexa Toler and Kamble Metz each posted a 107 in the team’s victory.
The team is hosting their last tournament of the season Tuesday, Sept. 17, their senior night match at Winchester Country Club.
The regional tournament is set for Sept. 30 at the Keene Trace Golf Course in Lexington.
