Nearly 50 lifters competed in the second annual Anchored in Iron event, raising $7,000 for Hannah’s Care Packages.

Hannah’s Care Packages partnered with Iron Mafia LLC/Four Brothers Gym and CrossFit Strode Station to host the charity event.

Jessica Ball, founder of HCP, said the money will enable HCP to help many more families throughout the year. Ball said she was thankful for every person who made the second annual Anchored in Iron event happen.

Beyond the weights, beyond the lifts, platform and totals, lifters paired with HCP families to give them hope, love and encouragement, Ball said.

“The kids looking up to the lifters, inspiring then to be strong,” Ball said. “But little do these kids know, they inspire the lifters even more, because they are even stronger, enduring everything that they do.”
