Gary W. Smith, 69, husband of Deborah L. Terwilliger Smith, passed away September 4, 2019.

He was born April 26, 1950 to the late Roy and Mildred Patrick Shrout in Estill Co., Ky. Gary was a US Army veteran and well known in several counties as “Little Debbie” as result of being employed for 31 years with the company.

In addition to his wife, he is survived by son Gary W. (Melissa)Smith, Jr.; daughter Melissa “Sissy” (Eddie) Olsen; grandson Cameron Smith; granddaughters Sydney and Parker Smith, Kayla and Sabelle Olsen; one great granddaughter Penny Kate; sisters Brenda (Larry) Bowling, June Wolfe, Carmilla Hewitt and Lavern Jones; mother-in-law Dona F. Terwilliger Smith; brother-in-law Kelly (Pam) Terwilliger; a host of nieces and nephews and cousins and his beloved dog and friend Maggie.

In addition to his parents he is preceded in death by brothers Glynn, Jimmy and Johnny Smith; sisters Bille Lawson, Lenora Shatto and Anita Hawkins and father-in-law Bill Terwilliger.

Services will be on Sunday at 3:00 pm at Rolan G. Taylor Funeral Home in Winchester, Ky. Visitation will be from 1:00 pm until the hour of service. Memorials may be sent to Grace Bible Church, 250 N. Main St. Winchester, Ky. 40391
