Revival, homecoming at Calvary Baptist

Calvary Baptist Church, 204 French Ave., will host a revival and homecoming from 7 to 8 p.m. nightly Sept. 18-22. Guest speakers will be Ed Hopper on Sept. 18, Pat Finney on Sept. 19, Tony Stang on Sept. 20, Lee Watts on Sept. 21 and James McIntosh on Sept. 22.

Financial Peace classes at First CoG

Financial Peace University classes will begin Wednesday, Sept. 18, at Winchester First Church of God, 2500 Colby Road. This nine-lesson course uses biblical wisdom and common sense to help you tackle budgeting, pay off debt and make your money work for you. Classes meet from 6 to 8 p.m. Wednesdays through Nov. 13. Food pantry at First Baptist Church

First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St., operates a food pantry in partnership with God’s Pantry from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. each Saturday at the church. The pantry is open to those in need and for donations from the community. For more information, call the church at 744-6624.

Services at First Presbyterian Church, 130 Windridge Drive, will begin at 10:30 a.m. Sunday. Worship will be lively and traditional. Missionary workshop at Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church

Corinthian Missionary Baptist Church, 37 Fifth St., will host a missionary workshop from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. Saturday, Sept. 21, with Sister Angela Campbell, president of the General Association Baptist Women’s Missionary, conducting. Lunch will be provided. The church will observe Missionary Day on Sunday, Sept. 22, with services beginning at 11:30 a.m. Dinner will be served following morning worship.
