Hundreds of seniors filed into the First Church of God Friday for the third annual Senior Expo.
Seniors browsed aisles of vendors ranging from banks, law enforcement agencies, health care organizations to senior assistance programs, funeral homes and more.
Seniors also received a free health screening and sat down for a free lunch during the 2019 Senior Expo.
Jessica Durphy, an insurance agent at The Williams Agency and organizer of the Senior Expo, previously told The Sun she had the idea for the event a few years ago. She recognized the need for a safe place for seniors to socialize and gather information specifically for them.
The Williams Agency presents the annual senior expo and gave away a $150 Kroger gift card.
