More than 50 people attended the Clark County Cooperative Extension agriculture summer field day Thursday. Attendees learned about the history of Bill and Marilyn Cooks’ farm before taking a tour on a hay ride.
Attendees also heard from various speakers. Forrest Wynne, Kentucky State University aquaculture specialist, talked about pond and lake weed management; Michelle Arnold, University of Kentucky veterinarian, discussed livestock water sources and summer health.
The Clark County Cattleman’s Association and Clark County Farm Bureau sponsored the event, providing food and drinks for everyone.
