A portion of Main Street was blocked off for several hours Saturday night as Winchester Fire responded to a fire.
According to Batallion Chief Scotty Bell, the call to 66 S. Main St. came in about 10:50 p.m. Saturday.
He said when crews arrived there was heavy fire on the first floor of the building, which moved to the second floor and was highly visible at the back of the building, which faces Speedway and Wall Avenue.
There were no injuries reported on the scene, and after a sweep of the building, firefighters were able to confirm the building was not occupied at the time of the fire, despite early reports that it was.
Bell said the cause of the fire remains under investigation.
The building is home to the Odd Fellows, a fraternal organization established in Clark County in the 1800s. The first floor is used for weekly Alcoholics Anonymous meetings.
