Annual event teaches bicycle safety, skills

Hundreds of families showed up for the ninth annual Winchester-Clark County Parks and Recreation Bicycle Rodeo Saturday.
Children learned about safe bicycle etiquette, navigated two courses and had a chance to win a new bike.
D & S Hardware ordered and assembled 40 bikes for WCCPR to give away at the event.
WCCPR used funds through a grant from Elks Lodge No. 2816 along with money raised during the WinSprint Triathlon in October 2018 to purchase the bikes.
