SATURDAY, JULY 6
— Winchester-Clark County Farmers Market Vegetable Festival, 8 a.m. to noon on Depot Street. Celebrate local produce. Stop by the market for your chance to win prizes, snag some delicious produce and visit booths from local organizations.
— Cool History on Hot Days, 2 to 5 p.m. at Fort Boonesborough State Park, 4375 Boonesborough Road. Free with paid admission to the fort. Programs will relate to early Kentucky history and be presented in the Blockhouse.
— Parents Night Out, 6 to 11 p.m., First Baptist Church, 37 N. Highland St. Cost is $20 per child through July 1, $30 per child July 2-6, ages 6 weeks to 12 years. Includes music, crafts, games and dinner.
— Demolition Derby, 7 p.m. at Clark County Fairgrounds.

— Shearer Elementary School SBDM principal selection training, 5 to 8 p.m. at the Central Office Building, 1600 West Lexington Ave.

Broadway St. Groups are open to anyone seeking recovery support. Groups are peer-led and diverse in the pathway to recovery. For more information, call 859-385-5017.
— Open House, noon to 1 p.m. at KORT Winchester Shoppers Drive location. The Chamber of Commerce will be present for a ribbon cutting. Snacks and giveaways are also available.

— Celebrate Recovery meeting, 7 p.m. at Calvary Christian Church, 15 Redwing Drive. CR is a Christ-centered recovery program based on the eight Beatitudes, the 12 Steps and their Biblical comparison. There are also programs for children kindergarten to 12 years and also for teens age 13 to 19. Childcare is provided for children up to 4 years old. Meetings are each Tuesday.
