Charged
— Cesar Diaz Aguirre, 48, was charged Wednesday with careless driving and violation of a city ordinance (no through traffic).
— Eric Jerome Hatton, 44, was charged Wednesday with theft by unlawful taking (purse snatching) under $500 and theft by unlawful taking (shoplifting) under $500.
— Jonathon Charles Rose, 27, was charged Wednesday with no or expired registration plates, no or expired Kentucky registration receipt and failure of owner to maintain required insurance.
Reports
— At 8:46 a.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 1859 Bypass Road concerning fraudulent use of a credit card for an online grocery pickup order.
— At 8:50 a.m. Wednesday, officers espoused to 1575 Bypass Road concerning an employee theft.
— At 4:04 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 104 Pedro Way concerning a hit-and-run.
— At 4:55 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 951 Bypass Road concerning a theft.
— At 6:27 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to 27 E. Washington St. concerning a stolen cell phone.
— At 8:14 p.m. Wednesday, officers responded to Calloway and Georgia streets concerning a child found unattended.
— At 8:27 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report of a stolen debit card.
CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
— At 12:38 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to a report in which the complainant sent five mowers to be repaired and could not get the mowers back from the mechanic.
— At 8:54 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to 145 Ferry Road concerning items stolen from a garage, including pool sticks, a weedeater and a chainsaw.
— At 6:45 p.m. Monday, deputies responded to 244 Tierney Way concerning an employee who stole medications from the company.
Accidents
— At 7:55 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Pine Ridge Road in which a 2015 Honda Civic driven by Anthony McKenzie of 569 Earlymeade Drive was traveling toward Log Lick Road when it entered a curve too fast, ran off the right side of the roadway into an embankment, struck a tree and overturned. McKenzie was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
