Accidents

— At 8:29 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a non-injury accident on Mountain Parkway. Jarrett Mason, of Lexington, was approaching Robert Peace Jr., of Cleves, Ohio, who was in the right lane. Mason said he looked down at his speed and drifted to the right, realizing that, he pulled the car back to the left, sending the car into a skid and striking the left rear side of Peace’s Toyota Sienna. There was minor damage to both vehicles.

—At 9:11 p.m. Thursday, deputies responded to a report of a threat. The victim said he received a call from the suspect as he had been subpoenaed for the suspect’s wife due to an upcoming divorce between the suspect and his wife. The victim said the suspect called to tell him he would “take him away from his children” if he were to testify for the suspect’s wife.
