Coogle wins Amazing Shake with superb job interview at Ale 8

- Silas Coogle, a seventh-grader at Campbell Junior High School, won the three-part Amazing Shake contest.
Dressed in their best, five Campbell Junior High School seventh-graders had the opportunity to sit down for an interview at Ale-8-One Friday.
The students were the highest scoring competitors in Campbell’s in-house Amazing Shake competition, which officially wrapped Friday as the Ale-8-One interviews were the final round.
Ale-8-One Public Relations Manager DeAnne Elmore asked questions she uses in normal potential employee interviews.
She and the other interviewers said they were impressed by each student’s professionalism.
“I would’ve offered them all a job,” Elmore said.
It came down to tiny details in their answers to choose a winner. Silas Coogle won first place; Sydney Herringshaw came in second, and Maggie Zeysing came in third. The winners receive $100, $50 and $25 respectively.
Elmore said the students were “well beyond their years,” and exemplified professionalism. ‘
“They would all be excellent brand ambassadors,” Elmore said.
