CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Reports

— At 12:11 p.m. Sunday, deputies were called to 24 Watts Road concerning the theft of a wallet from a vehicle. It was recovered from 39 Watts Road. Nothing was taken.

— At 9:58 a.m. Friday, deputies were called to 6266 Ecton Road after someone broke into a barn and took several items.

— At 8:53 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 144 Calmes Blvd. concerning a possible theft.

Accidents

— At 12:57 p.m. Saturday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Crowe Ridge Road in which a vehicle driven by Kathey M. Reed of 1692 Crowe Ridge Road attempted to avoid hitting a squirrel, entered the other lane and struck n oncoming vehicle, driven by Marcella L. Boone of 1137 Crowe Ridge Road. Boone was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

CLARK COUNTY FIRE

— At 10:43 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Amster Grove Road.

— At 9:34 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Revilo Road.

— At 10:41 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding on Hummingbird Road.

— At 12:59 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an injury accident on Crowe Ridge Road.

— At 12:06 a.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to Ecton Road for an investigation.

— At 3:34 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an electrical fire on Goose Creek Road.

— At 9:23 p.m. Sunday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on Iron Works Road.

WINCHESTER POLICE

Charged

— Dalyn W. Catron, no age given, was charged Friday with theft by unlawful taking.

— Haley Nicole Clay, 19, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence younger than 21 years old.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— From Friday through Sunday, EMS personnel responded to 43 general medical calls, six cardiac cases, four respiratory cases, three strokes, one seizure and one overdose.

— At 9:30 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Bypass and Fulton roads.

— At 8:12 a.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to a kitchen fire at 100 Spruce Court. It was caused by burned food on a stove.

— At 1 p.m. Saturday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident near 1079 Crowe Ridge Road.

— At 8:30 p.m. and 11:45 p.m. Saturday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 695 N. Main St. Both incidents were false alarms.

— At 5:34 a.m. and 1:42 p.m. Sunday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 695 N. Main St. Both incidents were false alarms.

— At 5:15 p.m. Sunday, firefighters were called to Maple Street and Boone Avenue after a tractor-trailer struck and damaged a utility pole, and pulled down power lines. The road was closed for several hours.
