The George Rogers Clark boys basketball team was cooled off by Campbell County after a hot start and fell 61-49 in the 10th Region championship Saturday at Mason County.

The Camels flipped the script in the third quarter to outscore GRC 18-4 but the Cards kept it close as they trailed 39-38 after three quarters.
Campbell capitalized on GRC’s late turnovers to seal the game.
Jordan Graham led the way with 15 points.
Head coach Josh Cook was proud of his team and said the senior leaders led the team to an unforgettable season.
“It’s tough saying goodbye,” he said. “You build relationships with these kids. You go through a lot of ups and downs and good times and bad times. I love the kids I coach. It’s tough and I want them to know I’ll always be here whenever they need me. I’m proud of everything they’ve accomplished. Back-to-back district champs, three 20-win seasons and region runner-ups. They’ve got a lot to be proud of.”
Graham, Brennan Canada and Jerone Morton were honored for the All-Tournament Team.
Graham, Canada and Jehdon Jenkins were recognized for the All-Region Team.
