CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF

Charged

— William Allison, 43, of Beattyville, was charged Thursday with driving under the influence (third offense), careless driving and no insurance.

— Kalya Hensley, 26, of 6100 Lexington Road, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, careless driving, no proof of insurance, no registration receipt and speeding.

— Bobby McKinney, 29, of Byhalia, Mississippi, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, second-degree fleeing or evading police, resisting arrest, first-degree possession of a controlled substance, no insurance, no registration plate, tampering with physical evidence and fugitive from another state.

— Paul Gum, 54, was charged Saturday with driving under the influence, possession of open container of alcohol in a motor vehicle, careless driving and failure to use turn signal.

— Darren Blackburn, 51, of Lexington, was charged Sunday with driving under the influence (second offense), careless driving and no insurance.

— Will Jay Demshar, 40, of 102 W. Hickman St., was charged Sunday with driving under the influence, careless driving and failure to use turn signal.

Reports

— At 1:45 p.m. Thursday, deputies were called to Fas-Mart, 5400 Revilo Road, concerning an employee theft.

— At 1:09 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Storage Rentals of America, 1280 W. Therese Drive, after someone entered a storage unit and stole a camper trailer.

— At 4:29 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to Van Meter Road after a trailer struck a fence.

— At 3:54 p.m. Friday, deputies were called to 140 Shanahan Lane after someone broke into a residence and took several items.

Accidents

— At 11:25 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Red River Road in which James R. Ross of 8 Cook Ave., was traveling on Long Branch Road when his vehicle went off the road and struck a tree. Ross was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.

— At 1:11 p.m. Sunday, deputies responded to an injury accident at 4999 Iron Works Road in which Oscar Jones of 3497 Stamper Drive, was traveling west when his vehicle struck a mailbox, went over an embankment and overturned several times. Jones was pronounced dead at the scene.

WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS

— During the weekend, EMS personnel responded to 48 general medical calls, four cardiac cases, seven respiratory cases and one diabetic case.

— At 5:16 a.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 415 Magnolia St. It was a false alarm.

— At 1:17 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at Brown Proctor Apartments, 108 S. Main St. It was a false alarm.

— At 6:25 p.m. Friday, firefighters responded to a motor vehicle accident at Paris Road and Plantations Drive.

— At 9:21 p.m. Friday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at the 101 mile marker of Interstate 64.
