— At 11:44 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Rural King, 951 Bypass Road, concerning s suspected shoplifter. Nicholas Crouch was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.

— At 11:47 a.m. Thursday, officers were called to Kroger, 1661 Bypass Road, concerning a theft. Tara Hale was arrested and charged with theft by unlawful taking.
