CLARK COUNTY SHERIFF
Accidents
— At 3:26 p.m. Wednesday, deputies responded to an injury accident on Colby Road in which a vehicle driven by Michael S. Hamilton of 3797 Basin Springs Road crossed the center line and struck an oncoming vehicle, driven by Bethny N. Sanford of 288 Redwing Drive. Sanford was transported to Clark Regional Medical Center with unspecified injuries.
WINCHESTER FIRE-EMS
— On Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to 20 general medical calls, one respiratory case and one overdose.
— At 12:21 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to a ruptured gas line at 2400 Lexington Road.
— At 1:13 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an alarm sounding at 108 S. Main St. It was a false alarm.
— At 3:26 p.m. Wednesday, EMS personnel responded to a motor vehicle accident at 5059 Colby Road.
CLARK COUNTY FIRE
— At 3:28 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near 5059 Colby Road.
— At 7:49 p.m. Wednesday, firefighters assisted EMS personnel with a call on McClure Road.
— At 3:51 a.m. Thursday, firefighters responded to an injury accident near Four Mile Road and Brookshire Lane.
WINCHESTER POLICE
Charged
— Amber Dawn Whalen, 28, was charged Wednesday with third-degree criminal trespassing and first-degree possession of a controlled substance.
Reports
— At 8:24 a.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1535 W. Lexington Ave. after someone threw a rock through a window during the night.
— At 12:05 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 130 E. Broadway St. concerning a breaking and entering complaint. Amber Dawn Whalen was arrested on multiple charges.
— At 1:31 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a person not returning a cell phone and tablet. The matter was referred to the county attorney’s office.
— At 3:07 p.m. Wednesday, officers took a report concerning a person sending threatening texts to the caller’s child.
— At 5:02 p.m. Wednesday, officers were called to 1215 W. Lexington Ave. concerning suspected shoplifters in the store.
